What is the mantra?

A sound mind is one that is free of stress and is full of positive thoughts. Positive plays a pivotal factor when we talk about the free mind. When you think positive, good things happen. With the change of time, the real meaning of mantras has seemed too lost. Mantras were thought to have both spiritual and psychological powers. Alexander, the person who discovered the world had mantras which kept him doing his work without any negative thoughts.  In the present time, people get more stressed and their thoughts are full of negativity. Chanting of mantras is considered as one of the best ways to bring presence to our positive thoughts and qualities.

Mantras can be used for the meditation process.  Meditation is the process of making a connection with the divine lord and mantras can be the way that helps us in making the connection

As rightly said that “A happy soul is the best shield for the cruel world.“ To be successful and happy in life we must have five useful and benevolent mantras that comprise: Tranquility (peace), profitability (prosperity), contentment (happiness), deep affection (love) and connection with God:

1. A mantra for tranquility (peace )

This is the mantras for the peace that was ever a person is, the mind of a person should be free and happy.The Sanskrit mantras for this is lokah Samsatah Sukhino Bhavantu.

Meaning of this mantra:  In olden days yogis or rishi used to go the forests or mountains to get the peace of mind. The peace of mind is the necessity of a good life. This mantra gives us a clue that the entire person in this universe is connected to one other as they belong to the same universe. With the help of this, we can let go of the negative thoughts and focus on the well being of others.

2. A mantra for profitability (prosperity)

This mantra is for overcoming any hurdle in life. The Sanskrit mantra for this is Om Gam Ganapatave Namah.

Meaning of this mantra: This mantra is for overcoming any complication of life. May it be an internal or external difficulty? We need to overcome that and lead a successful and happy life

3. A Mantra for contentment (Happiness)

Happiness emits like the scent of the flower and depicts all good things to you. This mantra is very beneficial for life. The Sanskrit mantras for this is “Om Paraanandaaya Namaha.

Meaning of this mantra: this mantra has related the happiness of the person as the person is born to be happy as if the person is happy, he will be able to make his surroundings happy and in turn, his life will be good and successful. The material happiness doesn’t come in this. The materialistic happiness is short-lived, whereas internal happiness is everlasting.

4. A Mantra for deep affection (Love)

“There is just one happiness in this life, i.e. to love and being loved.” this mantra is well-known to bring love in life. The Sanskrit mantra for this is “Om Mani Padme Hum.”

 Meaning of this mantra: this mantra is to induce the feeling of love and kindness in the people of the living beings in this universe. All the living beings are part of this eternity and should be treated with love and affection.

5. Mantra for connection with lord

This mantra is for the connection of a person with the almighty lord. The Sanskrit mantra for this is Om Namah Shivaya.

Meaning: the recitation of this mantra is dedicated to Lord Shiva; this is used to connect the universe with the lord. It will make us feel that God is present everywhere and we should respect his creatures.
